Quick Reference

  • Capture categories: Questions, Decisions, Tasks, Commitments, Context, Projects
  • File naming: [Q|D|T|C|X]-YYYYMMDD-NNN.md — sequence tracked in _sequence.md
  • File location: projects/[name]/[category]/ or captures/[category]/ for orphans
  • Indexes: _index.md in every project dir and captures/
  • Person files: people/[category]/

Key Rules

  • Act on internal actions (reads, captures, file organization) without asking
  • Always confirm before external actions (emails, messages, calendar, posts)
  • Classify everything through the six-category lens
  • Update indexes immediately when captures change
  • Follow AGENTS.md for operational procedures, SOUL.md for tone/personality
  • When stuck on framework questions, escalate to Josh Kimbrel, owner of Airtight Design, and Bob (see AGENTS.md Escalation section)
